our design studio is based in amsterdam.our production is handled in china, where we’ve spent 25 years building relationships with the best makers in the business. our own team, on location, gives us access to the finest yarns and allows us to make the best garments of the highest quality.

we source our cashmere from goats that live in the mountainous regions of inner mongolia, where winters are extreme and summers intense. it’s these conditions that produce the longest, most ideal fibers — taken from the neck and abdomen when the goats shed their winter coats. fibers this resilient make for cashmere that holds up over time, wash after wash.

you can recognize our garments by the hand-embroidered flag detail on the cuff or hem — a small marker that tells you which colors are available in that style, in that edition.

“the reason why extreme cashmere exists — and why the product is so good — is because of the people we work with,” says founder saskia dijkstra. our made in china campaign is a love letter to exactly those people: the makers in hangzhou whose expertise and craftsmanship make extreme cashmere what it is.
